OFFICIAL GRAND OPENING: OCTOBER 19, 2019!

Many of you have been in the Feast community since May, and some of you were in our original "Fire Crew" that started in January. We are so grateful for you, and so humbled by what this community has already become. Now, with our Hard Hat phase coming to an end, we have a chance to show this neighborhood, and our city, what we're all about.

Please join us on October 19 as we throw open the doors of the newly renovated Feast Fitness + Nutrition. Please also invite your friends, your family, your neighbors and anyone else you think might be interested in learning more about our approach to fitness, nutrition and community.

Here's the current schedule of events for Saturday, October 19:

7:30am: Doors Open
8:00am: Group Workout
9:00am Alderman Matt Martin cuts the ribbon on the facility, immediately followed by another Group Workout
10:00am to 12pm: Fitness fair, gym tours, food, drinks and raffle!

For more updates on the event check out the Facebook Event page here.

FITNESS UPDATE

Sign Up for the Open and Come to FNL! Our mission is to support the lifelong health and happiness of our members. We believe strongly in setting benchmarks to establish whether our community is getting fitter, and the Open provides a great data set to benchmark progress. If you care about your competitive standing in the Open, that's great! Even more important for us is that you know your fitness level compared to the large population of other fitness enthusiasts in the CrossFit community, and then that you track your progress against that group over time. To help you participate, Friday Night Lights (starting at 5:30pm) will be Open workouts with official CrossFit judges. If you can't make FNL for some reason, we will also run the Open workouts (Rx and scaled) during regular Friday class hours, and leave times on Sunday and Monday for folks who want to re-test. So sign up for the Open, come to FNL, enter your scores, and get a great baseline for tracking your fitness over time.

South Loop Games will be held November 23rd/24th at South Loop Strength and Conditioning. Over the past several years, Todd and the crew at South Loop have built probably the best single day individual and team competition in Chicago and they offer both RX and intermediate divisions. If this sounds like something you'd be interested in you can find more info HERE
